Falling junk

Just been thinking about this falling satellite business.

The chance of a human being hit is 1 in 3200. Sounds like a lot?
The chance of winning the UK lottery is 1 in 13, 983,816 (just looked it up!) and yet we all hope that one day our numbers will come up and we all think that ‘it could be me’.

I just logged into myspace. It’s changed a lot.

And what a lot of friend requests.

Don’t get excited though; every single one was from a band looking to increase their friend numbers. This is okay, but honestly, why do they bother? It’s certainly not because they like my music; I can say with almost complete certainty that not one of them bothered to take a moment to listen to one of my tracks.

I guess it’s fair enough. I didn’t bother listening to them either.
